Micro-événement n° 9 /Une boxeuse

Premier temps : le soir du vernissage, je joue une boxeuse à l’intérieur d’une installation que j’ai montée. Sous des tubes de néons blancs et entre deux murs de miroirs en PVC, je boxe contre deux punching-balls sur une musique Rap pendant trois quarts d’heure. Cette performance est enregistrée sous format vidéo.Deuxème temps : la vidéo de la performance est projetée sur le mur du fond de l’installation. Troisième temps : je rejoue la boxeuse, la vidéo du premier temps est projetée sur le mur du fond. Quatrième temps : la vidéo de la première performance est projetée sur le mur du fond de l’installation jusqu’à la fin de l’expo.

First step: the evening of the opening, I play a boxer inside an installation that I built. Under white neon lights and between two walls of polyvinyl mirrors, I box against a punching ball, with Rap music in the background for forty-five minutes. This performance is videotaped.
Second step: the video is projected on the back wall of the installation.
Third step: I play the boxer again, against the backdrop of the video made during the first step.
Forth step: the video of the first performance is projected on the back wall of the installation for the entire duration of the exhibit.
